Tabarca Island
Just about 8 km from Santa Pola we find the island of Tabarca, the biggest and the only one inhabitated island of the Valencian Community.
You can appreciate the silhouette of the island from the hotel, nonetheless we recommend a day trip to explore the island, enjoying a nice local Caldero (fish stew).
The best choice to go to Tabarca are the “Tabarqueras”, small boats leaving from Santa Pola´s harbour, just a few kilometres from Guardamar.

If you´re into history, you can not miss this activity in your next visit to Guardamar del Segura.
It is a guided visit to Guardamar´s Castle and the two arqueological sites: Rabita Califal (Islamic Caliphate Ribat) and the Phoenician city La Fonteta.

Madreselva winery visit
Located just a few kilometres from Guardamar, Madreselva winery is a family business run by Margarita Rodríguez Selva and Jose Alberto Campos.
You will be able to visit the vinyard, and have a nice wine tasting along with an assortment of cheeses and charcuteries.

Natural Park: Torrevieja and La Mata Lagoons
