At Hotel Meridional in Guardamar del Segura, we are thrilled to share a very special moment in our history: our 50th anniversary! To commemorate this milestone, we have created a video that captures the essence and legacy of our journey, recognizing the dedication of the Rodríguez family and the team of professionals who have worked tirelessly over the years.

An Event to Remember
The celebration event was filled with surprises and emotional moments, attended by family members, authorities, and friends. It was an opportunity to highlight the effort and commitment of the team that has been part of this iconic hotel in Guardamar for five decades. Among the attendees were important figures from the tourism sector and authorities such as:
- Nuria Montes, Consellera de Turismo
- Agustín Almodóvar Barceló, Senator for Alicante and tourism spokesperson for the PP in the Senate
- Emiliano García Domenech, owner of the emblematic winery and restaurant Casa Montaña in Valencia
- Fede Fuster, President of HOSBEC
- Antonio Crespo, Director of CDT in Alicante
- José Luis Sáez, Mayor of Guardamar del Segura
50 Years of Dedication and Growth
Since its inauguration in 1974, Hotel Meridional has evolved from a 2-star hotel with one floor and 14 rooms into a 4-star boutique hotel with modern facilities. Founded by Manuel and Margarita, the hotel has been constantly renovated, improving its quality and professionalizing its team. Today, under the direction of their daughter Margarita and her children Carmen and Jorge, the hotel continues to grow and adapt to the times.
Our Legacy and Future
Our hotel now features two restaurants, Ñam, recently awarded by the Repsol Guide, and the Mediterranean restaurant El Jardín, as well as a sky bar and a panoramic jacuzzi. Additionally, we offer two convention rooms, an outdoor pool, and private parking.
At a time when many family businesses disappear or are absorbed, we take pride in maintaining the legacy and tradition of Hotel Meridional with the same passion and dedication that our founders had.
